The 63rd Tokyo Kendo Festival was held at the Tokyo Budokan on April 2, 2023.
I participated again this year.
I have been preparing for this year's festival for several months, both mentally, physically, and technically, but I am ashamed to say that my performance this year was not even close to what I had planned. I realized how difficult the path is.
My opponent was Terachi Sensei, who is currently the Deputy Chief Instructor of the Metropolitan Police Department's Guidance Office, and it was our first time match. I will continue to devote myself to embodying what I have been teaching you.
